This is a full-day trip on snowmobiles traversing Lapland’s spectacular nature close to the Pallas-Yllästunturi National Park. The safari route winds its way through varying terrain to reach the rugged Pakasaivo, affectionately termed Lapland’s Hell. On the trip, we will stop to admire natural views typical for the region; highlands, snow-covered bogs and fells. Once we have admired the views of the gorge lake created by the thaw water of the Ice Age, we head our snowmobiles for our private Lappish kota shelter on the shores of the Saivo Lake. At the Lappish kota, our guide will teach participants how to make feather sticks to light the fire for preparing a delicious soup lunch. For the dessert we make a sooty pot coffee with a cinnamon roll. Similarly, for safety reasons the safari is always with one person per snowmobile. You need to be experienced snowmobile rider. Duration app. 6,5-7 hours with transfers.
We provide personal, small groups and local resident of Lapland guide!
