Hiking in the fell wilderness in Ylläs

This hike takes us to the Ylläs fell highland hiking terrain and towards Tuomikuru Gorge. 

The guide packs coffee supplies into the backpack before we head out towards the Ylläs fell and Tuomikuru Gorge. Magnificent views open up all around us, as we first hike up the Ylläs fell, descend the Tuomikuru Gorge and head for the Kahvikeidas campfire shelter. At the campfire shelter, the tasty sooty pot coffee is brewed over the fire and served to the guests. At the same time we can chat about nature, hiking, brewing coffee and other pleasant things. Depending how fast we want to hike, the trip takes approximately 4 hours.

Teach Charles how to fish, the middle management how to cook food on an open fire, or give Anna some skiing lessons. Kylmämaa Tours’ Skills Menu is not your typical recreational service: here you'll learn leisure skills with an instructor and train on your own – alone or in a group.
